🎓🚔 A big Blue Devil shout-out to the newest graduates of the Leominster Police Academy!

These students celebrated their graduation on July 24 after a program filled with hands-on learning, teamwork, discipline, and an inside look at law enforcement and public service.
A huge thank-you to our School Resource Officers for the time, energy, and care they put into making this such a meaningful experience for our students.

Today, we welcomed our newest Leominster Public Schools educators for New Teacher Orientation! The day was filled with learning, laughter, new connections, and plenty of excitement for the year ahead.

They may be new to LPS, but they’re already part of the family—and we can’t wait to see the energy, talent, and heart they bring to our schools and students!

🚌 New school year, new bus company, and a new way for families to stay connected!

Leominster Public Schools is excited to introduce the Beacon Connect Family App for the upcoming school year. The app will allow families to view their child’s approximate bus location and receive notifications when the bus is approaching a selected area.

Before setting up the app, families will need:
✅ The cell phone number listed in the student’s school record
✅ The student’s bus route number [these will be available soon]

Bus routes are not available yet. Route information will be released approximately two weeks before the start of school on the district website, Facebook, and Instagram.

Once routes are posted, families can follow the attached graphic to download the app and complete the setup process. Search for BC Family in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Please note that specialized transportation info will be shared individually to families who need it.

☀️ Summer fun, learning, and lots of smiles! ☀️

As we wrap up our summer programming here in Leominster, we wanted to share a few highlights from the past several weeks! Our students have been learning, creating, staying active, building friendships, and making some wonderful summer memories. 💙

A huge thank-you to our students, families, teachers, and staff who helped make this summer so special!

School’s out, but staying active is IN! 🏃‍♂️

It’s easy for summer to turn into prime screen-time season, but prioritizing movement is one of the best ways to beat the summer slump. Here are three fun ways to stay active:

• Early Bird Exploration: Beat the heat by heading out early! Try local trails, bike paths, or parks in the morning.
• Make a Splash: Visit the local pool, splash pads, or set up water games in the backyard.
• Rainy Day Upgrades: Too hot or raining? Try a dance workout, indoor climbing, or a local youth yoga class.
