From the Desk of Mr. Hayes (7โ12 Principal): Sharing Our Weekly Student Message with Our Lenox Community & Stakeholders
At Lenox Community School District, we believe strong schools are built on proactive communication and strong partnerships with our families and community.
Every weekend, Mr. Hayes sends a weekly update directly to our 7thโ12th grade students to inspire, motivate, and keep them focused on their growth. Here is this weekendโs message directed to all of our stakeholders so we can work together to support our Tiger students!
Key Highlights from Mr. Hayes' Message to Students:
The Power of Small, Daily Choices: Following our October assembly with former Iowa Hawkeye basketball player Mike Gesell, students were reminded that real success isn't about being perfect, itโs built on consistency, showing up every day, and making "the next right choice."
The October Challenge: Mr. Hayes has challenged every 7thโ12th grade student to pick ONE specific personal goal this month to "Be someone who makes Lenox better."
Action Steps in Motion:
๐ Academics: Arriving prepared, taking ownership of learning, and completing assignments before Wednesday grade checks.
๐ค Culture & Community: Showing kindness in the hallways, encouraging classmates, and respecting staff and peers.
๐ Activities & Athletics: Giving 100% effort and representing Lenox with Tiger Pride on and off the field.
Thank you to our parents, families, board members, and community for your constant support as we encourage our students to grow as leaders every single day! - Mr. Hayes
