Our final stop in Israel was overlooking the Wadi Qelt. After that, we said farewell to our tour guide and bus driver before making our way into Jordan.

Once there, we toured the Madaba region, including St George’s Church, before continuing to Mount Nebo—our final stop of the tour.

We’re incredibly thankful for God’s safety and provision throughout our trip so far, and for the opportunity to experience and see so much in a shorter trip this year.

Our journey through Jerusalem continued with a full day of walking through some of the most significant sites connected to Jesus’ final days.

We began on the Mount of Olives and walked the Palm Sunday Road to Dominus Flevit, followed by the Garden of Gethsemane. From there, we visited the Temple Mount, St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Garden Tomb, Hezekiah’s Tunnel, and the Pool of Siloam.

We then walked the Pilgrim’s Road to the Temple Steps and the Western Wall before ending our day in the Upper Room.

Today was our last full day touring in Israel, making for a memorable end to our time together!

Our journey continued in Bethlehem, beginning with visits to the Shepherds’ Field and the Church of the Nativity. We then traveled to the Israel Museum before making our way into Old Jerusalem.

There, we visited the Pool of Bethesda, where Ella Clark gave her site report, and then began our journey along the Via Dolorosa, following the traditional route through the Old City, going to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and ending at the Hidden Gate.

Today we left the Dead Sea and continued into the heart of Israel. We traveled first to Qumran, where Xander Tompkins gave his site report.

From there, we went to Shiloh, followed by Samaria and then Jacob’s Well.

Next, we visited Tel Balata, located in the pass between Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal. We ended the day at Mount Scopus, overlooking the city of Jerusalem.

We’re approaching the end of our trip, but we’re excited to finish strong!
