In rural southern counties during the 1930s, hospitals were often located hours away and frequently denied entry to expectant mothers. Nurse Miss Sarah traveled on foot, by horseback, and in dirt-road wagons at all hours of the night to ensure safe deliveries for local mothers. Over a thirty-year career, she brought more than a thousand healthy infants into the world without losing a single mother. Community healers were the lifeblood of survival long before formal networks existed. Let's honor her quiet legacy!

I think many people already know how conscious newborns are. Many parents even have poignant experiences of their “ soul baby” connecting with them before they are conceived via their dreams. https://www.sciencefocus.com/the-human-body/we-may-have-to-rethink-consciousness-completely-heres-why?fbclid=IwZnRzaASaqd1leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEeB0vpBXWqBSsNS_YJ4_HO1ive3TUr4vi90hN7262XoPl0D_CJhTsUiIQz2o4_aem_cYWjmhP6whNF41dF_UYrrA

In their quest to pinpoint the start of human consciousness, neuroscientists are diving into some truly bizarre territory.
