One last Awards Day as Wildcats. ❤️🖤🐾
Today we had the privilege of celebrating our 8th grade students and recognizing the hard work, growth, leadership, and accomplishments they’ve shown during their time at WLMS.
For some, this day marked the end of three years of middle school memories. For others, it was a chance to reflect on how far they’ve come since first walking through our doors. No matter the award received, each student has left their mark on our school.
As this chapter comes to a close, we’re excited to see what the future holds for the Class of 2030. Keep working hard, keep chasing your goals, and never forget where your Wildcat story began.
Congratulations to all of our award recipients and to every 8th grader who helped make WLMS a better place. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat. 🎉

Some teachers leave an impact in the classroom. Others leave an impact on an entire community.
We are beyond proud to celebrate Tiffany Maltba for being named Caldwell County School’s Teacher of the Year! 🎉
As a CTE teacher in Medical Terminology, Mrs. Maltba goes far beyond teaching vocabulary and coursework. She pours her heart into her students every single day, encouraging them, believing in them, and preparing them for futures far bigger than they can imagine. Her passion for education, her love for this school, and her heart for kids shines through in everything she does.
This honor is so well deserved, and we are incredibly thankful for the difference she makes in the lives of so many at our school. Congratulations, Mrs. Maltba, your wildcat family is cheering you on every step of the way! ❤️
We also want to recognize and celebrate all of our school nominees across every category. Being nominated is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and care each of you pours into this school and our students every day. We are incredibly proud to have such an amazing group representing our school, and we are thankful for the impact each of you makes on the lives of our Wildcats!

We’re so grateful for the support of our community! 🖤
Thank you to Joe & Erika Murphy of Driven, First Baptist of Lenoir, and Kings Creek Community Athletics for sponsoring hoodies for our FCA group this year!
FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) is a student-led club at our school, and one of many clubs students can choose to be a part of. Like all of our student organizations, it’s about giving students opportunities to connect, get involved, and build leadership skills around shared interests.
We appreciate our community partners for helping make opportunities like this possible for our students!
