Crystal Moody is Lower Creek’s Volunteer of the Year! She has helped second and third graders all year long. She has helped them with their reading. She has done a great job at encouraging the kids and helping them build their reading skills and confidence in reading. Karen Ellison has brought her skills of working with young children to our first graders at Lower Creek. She has been helping first graders with their math facts. Amanda Efird has a special gift! She helps our 5th grade students with math. She helps students in small groups. It is hard to find someone with the math skills that Amanda shares with our fifth graders! Amanda, thank you for volunteering at Lower Creek and for being a GrandPal!

Leah Felmlee has come in to help teachers and students. She supports teachers by running copies for them. She also helps our students by listening to them read in a first grade classroom. She does a great job encouraging our students and teachers. Leah thank you so much for volunteering your time to support the teachers and students at Lower Creek and being a GrandPal!

Kori Dyer has helped out in a second grade classroom this year. She comes in to listen to students read their AR books. She helps them not only with their reading, but also with their confidence in reading. She uses her kind nature to encourage students to always try their best. Kori, thank you for being a GrandPal and volunteering your time to help the students at Lower Creek!

Our kindergarten team achieved fidelity on the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool in just one year, and we couldn’t be prouder! 💛💚

We are looking for donations of play kitchen items...such as pretend food, pots, pans, plates, etc. If you are willing to donate items, please bring them to the school office.

Ashley Watkins has helped out in lots of ways at Lower Creek this year. She has helped in a first grade classroom and in the media center. She has helped students in first grade complete work and encouraged them to always do their best! In the media center she has helped prepare for STEM Night, fills in for open circulation, reads and helps organize. Ashley, thank you for being a GrandPal and volunteering your time at Lower Creek!
