Max was selected by the Caldwell Soil and Water Conservation District Board to represent Caldwell County at the upcoming Resource Conservation Workshop (RCW) that will be held in Raleigh next month.

The Resource Conservation Workshop provides students with valuable opportunities to learn more about natural resources, conservation practices, leadership, and environmental stewardship through hands-on activities and educational experiences.

We are proud of Max and know he will do an outstanding job representing Caldwell County!

A day out of the classroom is a day well spent🪏

We are selling tickets until May 7th for our Utility Trailer Raffle. All proceeds go right back into our FFA and agriculture education program! Tickets can be purchased from an FFA member with a ticket packet or from our front office staff at SCHS. Support FFA! 🚜

All plants are considered to be native to NC and were purchased from The Arbor Garden Center (Taylorsville, NC) and Carolina Native Nursery (Burnsville, NC).

So many people have reached out in regards to our Annual Spring Plant Sale. We are glad to hear that so many have been looking forward to supporting us. Good news is, we are eagerly waiting for our new greenhouse to be constructed. Bad news is, we will not be hosting our plant sale this year. Stay tuned for next year! In the meantime, you can support the West Caldwell FFA plant sale May 7th-8th, 11th-13th all days 8am-4pm. Thank you all for your continued support over the years! 🌱

That’s a wrap on Ag Expo 2025 🚜 Some folks and the animals will be sticking around for the public to come visit tomorrow from 9am-1pm.

Mrs. Sartin’s Natural Resources class had a great time on Friday learning about North Carolina native mammals and even got to check out some pelts and skulls 🦫 Thank you Caldwell Soil & Water for visiting our program!
