Our third graders have been doing a deep dive into the world of animals through the animal classification unit in our curriculum, Core Knowledge Language Arts. They just finished up their animal reports and presentations to the class. We are proud of their hard work and our teachers for creating engaging opportunities. Amazing job yellow jackets!🐝

We are proud to be a Core Knowledge School! Because of this curriculum, we are able to offer students a learning experience like none other in our area. Here's the best part: It's all available to families for ~FREE!!~ Yes! You heard that right!
We are a FREE K-8 SCHOOL open to any NC resident. There are no special hoops to jump through, and no scholarship applications are needed. There's just a few days left to be able to take advantage of this opportunity for this school year. Apply today!

It may have been a soggy morning yesterday but some of our students, parents, and staff gathered to worship and pray for our school for the annual See You At The Pole event. Special thank you to all who put this together and to our students for showing leadership!🐝

In honor of National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Week, we want to celebrate our very own Mr. Carey! He does an amazing job in so many ways serving as our assistant principal and athletic director. He leads with kindness and humility. Thank you for all you do!

Never underestimate the value of a good board game! Students in our 3rd grade class had a ball Friday afternoon playing several classics. Board games teach problem solving, build better memory, and help develop social skills. Great idea Mrs. Hendrick!
