We have found homes for all of the horses. Mr Robinette passed away so we hope that we are no longer needed. This page was originally created for find homes for horses that were homeless. Here is what our original page stated :
These horses are at risk of going to a slaughter sale if not purchased. They are located at Robinette Farm in Lenoir City, TN. This is a horse trader's facility. You are p

urchasing horses from a horse trader if you buy one here. I have been given permission to post pictures and info about these horses to help find them good homes rather than going to slaughter sales. If there is a descripiton listed about the horses then that is ALL I know so please don't ask for more information. Some of these horses come from private owners, some come from sales but there is usually very limited and not always reliable information available about them. There are no guarantees on these horses (their health or abilities). They are sold "as is" and the description usually comes from previous owners so it may not always be accurate. These horses are not generally recommended for beginners or first time horse owners....only because their background is not well known. So please like this page so you can keep up with new arrivals and pass them on to friends.

These two horses are available across the street from Robinnette's in Lenoir City. Paint is a mare 8-10 yrs old (maybe) she's very broke (I have ridden her briefly but not in an arena). Has been trail ridden - might need a refresher. About 15.1-15.2h. Cute girl $700. The chestnut is a gelding said to be less than 10 years about 15.2 hands. Very cute mover. Very broke. Cute personality. $700 These are not in need of "rescue" they are being cared for but they would like good homes call Jerry at 865.659.7315

This pony was headed for the slaughter sales just a few months ago but instead a very nice lady paid her bail and now she is a lesson pony at Westwind equine training center!! Amazing that her former owner dumped her off to be sent to slaughter and now she's making kids happy. God is good.

Oh and by the way if you drop your horses off at the horse traders or auction them at a slaughter auction you ARE a bad person!!! I'm sorry. It doesn't matter what your situation is. I would almost rather you let them starve to death in your field than put them through what these horses go thru. If you saw the look of disappointment and sorrow in their eyes you'd feel bad too. When you drop them off they WILL get sick. They might get tangled in a barbed wire fence or kicked or chased by other horses left to fend for themselves. Then they are going to get thrown in a pen auctioned off, loaded on to a big rig trailer with as many other horses as will fit (who knows if they got food or water before or during all this). Then, sick, dehydrated, injured, scared they will be hauled to Canada or Mexico to be slaughtered. They will look into someone's eyes for help as the KILL THEM. So YOU BAD PEOPLE should feel good about yourselves when you get your very few $$ for sealing a horse's fate. I don't like you. And I don't understand you. God created people and horses. HE will deal with you later.

This adorable Arabian paint cross is for sale at Robinette farm. Please hurry and save his life. New operator won't give him time he will take him off to the kill sale. He came from a private owner with the QH Mare. He was ridden at lone mountain last weekend (I was able to talk to previous owner) he is broke but green and spunky. Cute boy. He's about 14.1h 5 years old according to owner but I didn't look at his teeth. I am trying to see if he could be registered half Arab. (researching thru previous owner ) please hurry and save this cute gelding. I can't guarantee anything about him but he deserves a shot at a better life. He has been handled so you can finish your way. I recommend quarantine if you get either of these horses and I would just expect that they need all vet care (vaccinations etc). Hurry and save them. We haven't posted in a long time because there wasn't anything that I would recommend at Robinette but these two are worth it.

This little adorable QH PONY is at Robinette farm. Act FAST or she won't be there long. New operator doesn't give them time or care. She's 6-8 has been trail ridden and was shown in walk trot classes in the past but not ridden much lately ( according to owner who dropped her off ). $300. She is much cuter than this picture and is about 14.1 h.
Please go get her and save her life. I can't guarantee anything about her but she deserves a shot. Oh and I highly recommend quarantine she came from private owner but you never know when they get to robinettes what they will be exposed to.
