Before the world knew her as an icon, East Tennessee knew her as one of our own. 🦋

Today, the Diamond PRIME family joins Tennessee and people everywhere in honoring the life of Dolly Parton.

Dolly showed generations of young people that where you begin never has to limit where you can go. She dreamed big, worked hard, stayed humble, gave generously and—no matter how high she climbed—never forgot where she came from.

Those are the same qualities we hope to instill in every young player who wears PRIME across his chest.

Her voice may be still, but her music, kindness and impact will continue to echo far beyond the Smoky Mountains.

Thank you, Dolly, for making East Tennessee proud and for showing us what it means to use your gifts to lift others.

Baseball has a way of humbling you, and yesterday was one of those days.

We dropped both games, 14-5 and 12-1, and we didn’t play anywhere close to our standard. No excuses—we own it together as players and coaches.

But one difficult day doesn’t define this team. It simply shows us where we need to improve. We’ll get back to work, clean up the fundamentals, compete with more confidence, and learn how to respond when the game gets hard.

Winning is fun, but real growth often comes from days like this. I believe in these boys, and I’m excited to see how they answer.

Head up, PRIME. Learn from it. Own it. Get better. 💎⚾️

The first game didn’t go our way, but one game does not define this team.

Now it’s about how we respond. Keep your heads up, trust each other, and compete with everything you’ve got. Fight for every pitch, every out, and every base. Play hard, play together, and leave absolutely everything on that field—no regrets!

We win together. We learn together. We battle together.
