SEED House The SEED House is designed as a small residential building with a variety of spaces that will serve three important purposes:

SouthBay Energy Efficiency Demonstration House, or SEED House is an innovative facility located on the Century Center for Economic Opportunity (CCEO) campus adjacent to LAX airport in Lennox, CA. Classroom Space

As “green” instructional space with super insulated walls, energy efficient HVAC and lighting, advanced educational technologies, and environmentally considerate finish materials.

2. Pra

ctice Space

As an example of typical Southern California residential construction to be used for hands-on training in “green” construction and residential upgrading.

3. Community Outreach

As a venue for regularly occurring community educational events, where home owners can learn about how they too can make their homes more efficient and sustainable.

The South Bay Environmental Services Center (SBESC) is the South Bay's local clearinghouse for energy efficiency, water conservation and environmental information - workshops, materials and outreach.
