For $15, your child can join the BBC! They will choose a new book for the CY library, have their name inscribed inside, get their picture on the bulletin board, and receive a goodie bag (including a token for the big gumball machine full of prizes!)

Below is important information from CY PTO!

2026-2027 CY PTO Board:
Shelby Gordon joins the PTO Board this year as Fundraising Director, heading up the annual Fun Run. She has a daughter Vivian that will be a 1st grader at CY this year. Please join us in welcoming Shelby to the Board!!! The 2026-2027 PTO Board members are:

Treasurer: Abbie Bunge
Secretary: Lyndsy Zelenc
Fundraising Director: Shelby Gordon
Communications Director: Aindrea De La Paz

Upcoming Events:
Sneak-a-Peak - Tuesday, August 11th 4:30-6:00pm
PIE Night - Thursday, August 20th 6:00-7:30pm
The PTO Board will have a table at both Sneak-a-Peak and PIE Night
Come meet the PTO Board, sign-up for Room Parent and/or Committee opportunities, get information on purchasing Spirit Wear, or stop by to ask questions. We look forward to seeing you at both events!

August PTO Meeting
Join us for the first PTO meeting of the year on Monday, August 24th 6:00-7:00pm in the library.
Meet the 2026/2027 PTO Board, hear about the fun PTO events planned for the year with special focus on the upcoming fundraising event ... the Fun Run!

Shorts and Shades
Welcome the school year on Friday, September 4th with a cool event on the playground…..with PTO provided popsicles. Get those shades ready and look for a time to follow!

The Fun Run
Each year the Canyon Creek PTO raises funds for experiences like Field Trips, Teacher Appreciation, Teacher Grants that directly benefit the Students, a schoolwide capital improvement, and more.

This year, the Fun Run will be held on Thursday, September 24th. We will be kicking off this exciting and important fundraiser in September so be on the lookout for information coming soon!

Pizza on the Playground

Save the date and come have a slice on the PTO on Friday, September 25th. More details to come so be on the lookout.
