This Throwback Thursday goes out to some of our greatest, most dramatic, and most excitable staff members who have proudly served as Grand Marshals! The Homecoming Grand Marshal is, dare we say, one of the most prestigious titles in our building. A rare honor that comes with the unforgettable chance to lead the entire school in the Homecoming parade. Our Grand Marshal has ranged from beloved teachers like Señora Toledo, to world famous SRO Officer Derrick Pierce. Our first ever alumni Grand Marshal was none other than Mr. Grisnik, and somehow even Mr. Krause makes this all-star list! All while one lucky soul has had this privilege not only once, but twice.
When asked about going for a 3-peat, Mr. Bomhoff said it would be his “single greatest accomplishment in this building.” Past honorees described the experience as life-changing, humbling, jaw-dropping, cherished, and legendary.
The anticipation is building; who will take the crown as our 2025 Homecoming Grand Marshal tomorrow? Stay tuned!
