LUMC loves celebrating the creativity of our young artists ✨

Our Art Show is always a favorite, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to support and encourage these incredible kids. Experiences like this remind them that anyone can be an artist—no two pieces are ever the same, and that’s the beauty of it. Art is expression, exploration, and learning all in one 😊

From zoo animals and butterflies to fish and “Tall Tall Grass,” from Elmer the Patchwork Elephant to It Looked Like Spilt Milk, our students drew inspiration from a wide range of ideas and artists—Mandarin studies, Georgia O’Keeffe, Eric Carle, Michelangelo, Kandinsky—and even turned blueprint ideas into real-life creations.

Art was created. Learning happened. Joy was shared. 🎨

LUMC loves moments with Mary!
Mary, our Director of Children’s Ministries at Lenexa United Methodist Church, brings so much joy to our Fridays. On the first Friday of each month, she shares a book, leads fun discussions, and helps us learn about the Bible in engaging ways.

In March, after learning about Jonah and the whale, the kids used their imaginations inside a giant inflatable whale—such a fun and memorable experience! 🐋

We are so blessed for these special moments. 💛
