STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Shoutout to our awesome float teacher, Jairyn! Jairyn started working at SSMS back in August and has been such great help! Staff describe Jairyn as sweet, caring, and patient. She said the best part about teaching is watching their eyes light up when they’re happy/excited or when they succeed in doing things by themselves! A few examples are watching a kid put their own shoes on, a kid walking for the first time, and when a kid helps Ms. Jairyn out in the classroom! Outside of the classroom you can find Jairyn painting in all forms, playing video games, and reading all types of books! We are so appreciative of Jairyn and all of the hard work she puts into caring for the children here at SSMS! Ms. Jairyn is such a great teacher and we are so lucky to have her! :)

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Shoutout to our new movers teacher, Holly! Holly started with us in September and the kids love her already! Staff describe Holly as kind, hardworking, and hilarious! She said the best part about teaching is watching them grow and being there during their biggest milestones! She loves to be each child’s biggest cheerleader! Outside of the classroom you can find Holly riding motorcycles with her boyfriend, doing her nails, and relaxing. We are so lucky to have Holly here at SSMS! She’s already such an asset to our mover’s room! :)

We love Montessori Work Time!! This month our themes are dinosaurs, geography, and Halloween! We have so many scooping, matching, and sensory-motor skill works! Our colors of the month are black and orange and our letters of the month are s, r, i, and p! We can’t wait for everyone to see the fun and spooky things we have planned! 👻

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Shoutout to our amazing new Float Teacher, Kenzie! Kenzie started with us in August and has been such a great addition to our team. Staff describe Kenzie as loving, intuitive, responsible, and caring. She said the best part about teaching is watching the children grow and develop new skills every day. Outside of the classroom you can find Ms. Kenzie playing with her new puppy, shopping, and attending anything K-State. We are so glad to have Ms. Kenzie as a teacher here at Shooting Stars. :)

Staff describe Nadia as funny, reliable, helpful, and a team player. She said the best part about teaching is spending time with the kids and helping them learn! Outside of the classroom you can find Ms. Nadia at the gym, trying new places to eat, and spending time with her new kitten and her boyfriend. We are so lucky to have Ms. Nadia as a teacher here at SSMS! :)

Shoutout to one of our awesome subs, Kassidy! Kassidy started at SSMS back in late April and has been so amazing with the kids. Staff describe Kassidy as patient, caring, and wonderful! She said the best part about teaching is being able to help the kids grow. Outside of the classroom you can find Kassidy shopping and traveling! Kassidy is so sweet and we are so grateful to have her here at Shooting Stars. She is such an amazing teacher and the kids love spending time with her!
