Our First Grade class exceeded expectations this year! From mastering math facts and growing as confident readers to stepping up as leaders, they embraced every opportunity to learn and grow. As an added bonus, they even began taking Accelerated Reader tests to help prepare for second grade. We are so proud of all they accomplished and know they are ready for everything second grade has to offer!

As a Navy family we have had the opportunity to live all over the US, but no place has felt more like home than here at MIQ. We have a rising 8th, 4th and Kindergartener and over the past 2 years all 3 of my children have been challenged in their academics and grown in their faith. Everyday my children wake up and cannot wait to go to school which is a true testament to the environment cultivated by the teachers, staff and parents. I’m so thankful the Navy sent us to Lemoore and God guided us to MIQ.

This summer, our From Pew to Pew series highlights the churches and special faith experiences our Knights and their families are enjoying.

The Elward family recently attended a truly memorable Mass, the ordination of their uncle, Fr. JohnPaul, at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Peoria, Illinois. Surrounded by family, friends, clergy, and faithful they witnessed this beautiful milestone as he answered God's call to the priesthood.

Congratulations to Fr. JohnPaul on his ordination, and thank you to the Elward family for sharing this special moment with our Knights community!
