The Lemont High School Alumni Hall of Fame recognizes graduates who have made significant contributions to society and serve as role models to Lemont High School students. This recognition is the highest honor that can be given by Lemont High School to one of its alumni.

Last spring, the late Col. Edward S. Krass '49 became the newest inductee to the Lemont High School Alumni Hall of Fame; his daughters proudly accepted this honor on his behalf from District 210 Superintendent Dr. Matt Maxwell!

We are seeking nominations for consideration for our next induction class! All nominees must be of good character, reflecting the qualities and ideals set forth by Lemont High School. Nominees are eligible for induction to the Lemont High School Alumni Hall of Fame 10 years after their graduation from the school.

Nominations are due Friday, October 30. To submit a nomination, please visit the school's website and click 'Alumni Hall of Fame Nomination' under the "Support LHS" tab.

Congratulations to Lemont High School's girls' tennis team, which won the program's 21st straight South Suburban Conference-Blue Division title (and 22nd straight conference championship overall)!

Congratulations to Lemont High School's Sarah Scott, who tied for eighth at the 2026 IHSA Class 2A Girls' Golf State Finals with a +2 146, earning all-state accolades for the second time in as many years!

On the boys' side, Niko Giannakopoulos tied for 44th in his debut at the 2026 IHSA Class 2A Boys' Golf State Finals, shooting a +15 157.

Two Lemont High School golfers entered state finals play today, and each advanced to the final round in their respective events!

Sarah Scott, who earned all-state honors as a freshman last year, shot an even-par 72 and finished the first round of the 2026 IHSA Class 2A Girls' Golf State Finals tied for seventh in the individual standings.

Making his state finals debut, Niko Giannakopoulos tied for 25th after the first 18 holes at the 2026 IHSA Class 2A Boys' Golf State Finals after shooting a +5 76.

Best of luck to both Sarah and Niko as they continue their state finals journeys on Saturday!

Lemont High School's Drama Club will present "The Outsiders" for nightly shows in the Performing Arts Center from Thursday, October 22-Saturday, October 24. In conjunction with the play, the school's Art Department will host an exhibition in Gallery 306.

Shows are scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens, and may be purchased online in advance (and picked up at Will Call) or at the door. The art exhibit will be open before each show from 5:45-6:45 p.m. and is free.

Before school today, Lemont High School held a state sendoff for Sarah Scott and Niko Giannakopoulos, who are off to compete at the IHSA Class 2A Girls' Golf State Finals and IHSA Class 2A Boys' Golf State Finals, respectively!

They also were the first two student-athletes this year to sign the "State Bound" banner.... many more to come!

You've seen a lot over the last week about the outstanding Advanced Placement exam results from Lemont High School students. However, they're not alone in setting themselves up for postgraduate success!

More than half of Lemont students are enrolled in a dual credit course this year, and those students are eligible for more than 3600 hours of college credit through classes on campus or at the WILCO Area Career Center.... and approximately 100 more students are enrolled in transitional credit courses that will allow them to sign up for credit-bearing courses as freshmen!

Congratulations to Lemont High School's Kim Pagliarulo, who has been named the Chicago Bears Flag Football Coach of the Week! Coach Pagliarulo, who just led her team through its debut season, will be recognized at the Bears-Saints game on November 22, and the Chicago Bears will make a $2000 donation to benefit Lemont's flag football program. Kudos Kim!

Lemont High School golfer Sarah Scott is headed back to the state finals! She placed fourth individually with a 1-under 71 at the IHSA Sandburg Sectional to secure her second state finals berth in as many years.

She will tee off at the 2026 IHSA Class 2A Girls' Golf State Finals at Hickory Point Golf Course on Friday, October 9.

Earlier this fall, she was Lemont's top finisher at both the IHSA Joliet Central Regional (t-9th) and the South Suburban Conference championship (2nd).

Sarah made her state finals debut one to remember in 2025, as she placed sixth at the 2025 IHSA Class 2A State Finals and became the first all-state performer from head coach Bill Mondrella's program. Good luck!
