Good afternoon , OQ Family.
Well… here we are. The final day of the school year.
To our students… thank you for the energy, laughter, memories, and moments that made Old Quarry such a special place every single day. Watching all of you grow over these past seven years has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life. Whether it was in the classroom, on the stage, on the field, in the hallways, or simply saying good morning at the front door… you made this place feel like home.
To our staff… thank you for loving kids, believing in kids, and giving everything you have to help them succeed. Old Quarry is special because of the people inside this building.
And to our families… thank you for embracing me from the very beginning and allowing me the privilege of serving as your principal. Your support, kindness, and trust have meant more than you will ever know.
When I arrived at Old Quarry seven years ago, I hoped this school would someday feel like home. What I didn’t realize then was just how deeply this place would impact my life forever.
Old Quarry Middle School will always hold a special place in my heart.
As we head into summer, remember to continue being kind, continue lifting others up, and continue being proud of who you are. Never let someone take away your sparkle.
And one final time…
It is a GREAT day to be a WARRIOR!
