Head Start and Early Head Start are national, federally funded programs that provide services to at-risk families. Our Head Start program receives some state funding as well to administer additional classrooms. The Office of Head Start has rigorous standards, and we work hard to exceed their expectations. We lay a solid foundation of knowledge and skills, helping disadvantaged children to enter kindergarten at the same learning level as their peers. Early Head Start reaches out to pregnant mothers and families with children between the ages of 0 and 3.
