HOPE Inc. As an adult day center, our mission is to provide exceptional support services to all people with intellectual disabilities.

HOPE Inc is an adult day center (ADC) dedicated to providing exceptional and high quality support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. HOPE Inc is dedicated to creating unique client-centered programs and activities. We believe that by building self-efficacy clients will achieve their personal goals. We have confidence that our clients can fully become integrated members of the

community by building and strengthening community relationships. Since people become neighbors when they share same places at the same time, as neighbors we will support local business, patronize local restaurants, visit museums and local libraries, attend spectator events, buy memberships in local gyms and pools, and join community advocacy organizations. Transportation is essential for a productive and independent life; therefore, mobility training will be offered daily based on the client (s) community interest, community involvement and employment. Group coaches will facilitate an interactive approach on various forms of public transportation methods while implementing safety practices and awareness. By providing educational opportunities and promoting self-efficacy the program seeks to work toward a future where all people whose needs limit their integration into the community can reach their highest level of human potential as productive and responsible members of society (Regional Center, 2013).

Cooking sessions are always a favorite! Today, participants selected fresh fruit to enjoy while practicing cooking, meal preparation, and everyday life skills. Making choices about nutritious foods also provides an opportunity to practice healthy decision-making. Activities like these support independence, confidence, and meaningful participation while keeping the experience enjoyable.
