Congratulations to the four Michigan recipients of the 2019 USDA National Farm to School grants! We're pleased to see that all four grantees have engaged with 10 Cents a Meal. They are Genesee ISD (a previous 10 Cents grantee that also works with eligible schools); Health Department of Northwest Michigan, which will be working with previous 10 Cent grantee Public Schools of Petoskey; Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District, which provides farm to school support to many 10 Cents eligible schools and grantees; and Urban Roots in Grand Rapids, which will work with schools in at least three 10 Cents-eligible sites and has signed on as a supporter of 10 Cents a Meal. Great examples of building community around healthy food for our kids!
