Mrs. Sellers and Ms. Eichelberger’s class turned storytime into a DELICIOUS hands-on learning experience! ❤️

After reading The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza, our little chefs put on their cooking hats and made their very own pizzas! 👩🏽‍🍳👨🏽‍🍳🍕

This fun activity brought the story to life while encouraging teamwork, following directions, sequencing, fine motor skills, and independence!

🎩🧢 HATS OFF TO PERFECT ATTENDANCE! 🎀💕

Our little CUBS celebrated a week of PERFECT ATTENDANCE by wearing their favorite hats and headbands to school! ❤️

🥰 We love finding fun ways to celebrate our students for showing up, being present, and ready to learn each day!

We also added a splash of PINK as our students wore pink shirts in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎗️💗

🐛🦋🐸🐢 Learning About Life Cycles! 🌱📚

Our Kindergarten students have been busy exploring the amazing life cycles of various animals! 🐣🐸🦋

Through hands-on projects, our kindergarteners had the opportunity to research, create, and demonstrate their understanding of how animals grow and change throughout their lives

🎀 PINK OUT FRIDAYS! 🎀

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Leland Early Learning is going PINK to show our support! 🩷

Every Friday this month:
👚 Students: Wear a pink shirt with uniform bottoms
🩷 Staff: Wear your pink shirts

Let’s fill ELI with PINK as we stand together in support of those who are fighting, honor the survivors, and remember those we’ve lost. 🎀💕

Wear PINK all month to show your support! 🩷

📚🐛 Another Fun Bookworm Visit! 🎃🍂

Our little cubs enjoyed another exciting Bookworm visit! This time, we talked all about the month of October and one of the holidays celebrated during the month—Halloween after reading, Pete the Cat: Five Little Pumpkins! 👻🎃

The children had a great time sharing what they know about October, and discussing Halloween traditions.

Thank you to our Bookworm visitors for another wonderful visit! 🐛💚

We are SO proud of our very own Mr. McNeil! 🌟 He has been working extremely hard at Delta Center Stage and is directing his first musical, Bubbling Brown Sugar! 🎭

After seeing his AMAZING production, we’re thinking LELI may have found the perfect director for a little spring program of our own… 👀😂😉

Everyone help us congratulate Mr. McNeil—and while you’re at it, help us convince him to put those directing skills to work for our little LELI stars! 🌟🎶

No pressure, Mr. McNeil… but also, a little pressure. 😂😉
