🌟 Exploring, Learning & Growing This Summer! 🌟

This summer, Leland students had the opportunity to attend a variety of day and overnight camps at Northern Illinois University (NIU). These camps allowed students to explore different areas of STEM, try new things, discover interests, and learn about potential careers.

These amazing opportunities were made possible thanks to the generous donations of former Leland teacher, Jan Half. Jan has sponsored NIU camps for Leland students for several years, helping provide experiences that encourage our students to explore their interests and think about their futures.

We want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Jan for her continued generosity and support of our students! 💙

Our 2026–2027 school year is officially underway! To launch our theme, "Leave Your Mark," every K–12 student and staff member placed their handprint on our hallway walls.

It’s a daily reminder that every effort, goal reached, and act of kindness leaves a lasting mark on our school. We can’t wait to watch our Panthers grow this year! 💚🖤
