The Roger Bacon Academy is an educational management organization providing administrative support and educational programs for tuition-free public charter schools. The Roger Bacon Academy provides a classical education program that espouses the traditional values of western civilization and includes Cursive, L

atin, and Grammar coursework. The robust classical curriculum is delivered with the engaging and proven Direct Instruction teaching method. The Roger Bacon Academy currently serves four public charter schools in southeastern NC: Classical Charter Schools of Leland, Classical Charter Schools of Southport, Classical Charter Schools of Whiteville, and Classical Charter Schools of Wilmington. All four campuses are public, tuition-free, and welcome any student regardless of income or ability. The schools' annual enrollment period runs the month of January. It's finally time to kick off the CCS-America soccer season! Tomorrow, CCS-Southport and CCS-Whiteville will face off at the Southport campus.⚽

The girls game will begin at 4:00, followed by the boys game. 🥅

Admission price:
💵$5 for general attendees
💵$3 for CCS-A students and staff
(All donations and concessions are cash only)

✏️ Today, CCS-America prepared to welcome students back to school with Staff Orientation and Professional Development Day! ✏️

We kicked the morning off with some remarks from founder Baker Michell and a special speech given by CCS-Southport alum, Gabriel Hughes. Gabriel shared how his CCS-America education and the support from his teachers helped shape his success and prepared him for the future.

Thank you, staff, for a great day of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
