Our CTE staff kicking off the school year with a focus on connecting academics with Career and Technical Education!!
They received valuable information and strategies on how to intentionally integrate academic skills into CTE instruction. By blending academics with hands-on, career-focused learning, we are preparing our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in the classroom, the workplace, and beyond.
We are excited about the year ahead and committed to providing our students with relevant, rigorous, and engaging learning experiences!

Leland Career and Technical Center instructors and administrator attended The 2026 MSACTE Conference in Biloxi, MS this week.
We were proud to receive the Achieve 100 award indicating that 100% of our staff met MSACTE initiatives for the 2025-2026 School Year. We are looking forward to a GREAT Year at LCTC📚

Leland Career and Technical Center’s FCCLA Chapter competed amongst other chapters in the state of MS at the FCCLA State Competition in Proficiency areas of Child Care and Interior Design. The students did an awsome job of preparing and presenting their projects. The ending results were Kiara Robinson 1st place in Creating a Teaching Tool, A'Rya Carter 1st place in Interior Design (Teenage Room), Ca'teriatta Magee 2nd place in Musical Activity, Jakariah Brown 3rd place in Interior Design (Kitchen), Aubrea Thomas 3rd place in Art Activity, and Anajah Robinson 6th place in Teaching a Science Activity. Congratulations Ms. Robin Morris (Advisor) and Students!!! They are already discussing what they want to do next year. We are Proud 🎊 👏
