AARP will be conducting their Driver Safety Course for Senior Citizens (aged 55+) at the Grayson County Extension Office Monday, October 5th, from 9:45am to 2pm CT. Participation in this course will grant you a 3 year discount on your car insurance.

Course cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members, payable by check only. Please bring your drivers license and insurance card to the class. Members should also bring their AARP Membership card. The class will NOT break for lunch, so participants should bring a bag lunch to eat during the class.

Class size is limited, so contact the Extension Office today to save your spot! 270-259-3492.

Join us for another Tai Chi class this morning at 10AM CT at the Extension Office! Tai Chi improves strength, flexibility, conditioning, and balance. It's been proven to improve cardiovascular fitness, lower blood pressure, prevent falls, and help people who have arthritis. No registration necessary - this event is open to everyone. Only one week left to order your mums from the 4-H Livestock Club! Available colors are white, purple, orange, red, yellow, or tri-color (yellow, pink, and white). The price is $15 for single colors, or $18 for the tri-color. Start ordering now through September 4th by contacting Hope Tollett (270-296-8603), a Livestock Club Member, or the Extension Office (270-259-3492). We are only able to accept cash or checks at this time. Make checks payable to "Grayson County 4-H Council" with "Livestock Fall Mum" on the memo line.

Mums are sourced from Glory Goods in Breckinridge County. They will become available for pickup at the Extension Office the morning of September 9th.
