Grayson County Middle School Families,
We are contacting you regarding the recent "Cat in the Hat" social media trend. Please be assured that school administration and local law enforcement take all threats and disruptions to the school day extremely seriously, and any involvement will result in firm disciplinary and potential legal consequences.
We strongly encourage you to talk with your child today about the severe repercussions of participating in or sharing harmful online challenges and the importance of reporting any concerning social media content directly to a trusted adult or school official rather than reposting it.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school community safe.
Sincerely,
Grayson County Middle School Administration
