Mrs. Escamilla’s class used modeling to predict the number of rubber bands it would take to break through a pumpkin. Then, the students tested their predictions. 🎃

Although their predictions were incorrect, discussion transpired about the proper use of extrapolation and potential sources of error including different variety of pumpkins.

The House Reps and Ms. Schroeder’s sophomore/junior business students traveled to BGSU today to attend Life Design Day. This event focused on developing a growth mindset, exploring design thinking, and creating a life design.

These student leaders participated in challenges, such as the Paper Tower and Plot Twists, as well as, analyzing potential issues within our school and proposing paths to find a solution.

This opportunity allowed them to grow as student leaders to continue to build pride and a positive environment within our school! 💜💛

Our Leipsic Middle & High School students are giving back! 💜💛

On Friday, October 9, students will head out into the Leipsic community to volunteer at local churches, parks, cemeteries, businesses, and for individuals who could use an extra hand.

From yard work and clean-up to painting, landscaping, and more, our students are ready to roll up their sleeves and help!

🍎 Learning is SWEET in First Grade! 🍏

Our first graders have been busy learning about the life cycles of plants, including the life cycle of an apple! We learned how an apple begins as a tiny seed, grows into a seedling, becomes an apple tree, produces beautiful blossoms, and finally grows delicious apples! 🌱➡️🌳➡️🌸➡️🍎

To make our learning even more special, our first grade classes got to enjoy some delicious, locally grown apples generously donated by Richard and Barb Karr! ❤️

A BIG thank you to Richard and Barb for providing this tasty treat and helping us bring our learning to life! Our first graders certainly enjoyed them! 🍎😊
