This month began with our students writing uplifting messages of gratitude to our Veterans, proudly displayed in our hallway, and scheduling reservations for book tasting days for junior high and then high school students, now we come together for Thanksgiving Break and indulge in more than tea and books.

D'Essence shows off her creation from an October library program. Her creativity and hard work paid off, and we're loving our new mascot! November brings a Wall of Gratitude for our Veterans and a book tasting. Mrs. Smith can't wait to see you in the library!

Mrs. Smith is still accepting Halloween costumes for students to exchange. Our students are continuing to work on their Spooky Friends. Unfortunately, we didn’t have anyone sign up for Cha Cha lessons during Hispanic Heritage Month which just ended.

The 10th Grade will be taking the PreACT test tomorrow in the Sam E. Sherrod Gym, the school’s library media center and the IVC lab. Mrs. Smith will be assisting with test administration and the library media center will be closed most of the day.

NWSCC representatives will be here on Thursday to help seniors apply for college admission since this week is free application week. So don’t miss out on this chance to apply without the fee.
