What an incredible turnout! Seeing all of the smiles on our grade 1-4 students, and even bigger smiles on some of our grownups 😜, while laughter, hugs, and conversations filled our halls again reminded us of the amazing community we have here at LES. We can’t wait for school to start! Thanks to everyone who participated in our Chalk Walk and wrote a welcoming message on our sidewalk. The sidewalk looks great! See you Wednesday, grades 1-4!

It’s about that time! As school year 2026-2027 begins, we are excited to use this space to connect with our wonderful Leicester Elementary School community! Principal Tracy Steiger and Assistant Principal Katie Ford invite you to follow along for the latest news and updates, celebrations, and a peek into the amazing learning experiences happening throughout our school. Whether you are a former student, parent or guardian, staff member, or LES supporter, we are so glad you are here! We hope this page will be a positive and welcoming place where we can celebrate our students, staff, and school community together. We ask that all comments and interactions remain kind, respectful, and positive so this space continues to reflect the supportive community we are proud to be a part of. To all of our new followers-welcome aboard! We are happy to have you with us and look forward to an amazing school year together!

We have missed you, LES Community! We can’t wait to welcome the kids back to school. LES is far too quiet over the summer without them! Here are our Open House dates and times, as well as our start dates:
*Open House-Grades 1-4 - August 24th, 5-6 pm, drop in style. Feel free to drop off any school supplies at this time to lighten the load on the first day of school!
*First Day-Grades 1-4 - August 26th
*Kindergarten Screening-appointment only- August 27th and 28th
*Kindergarten Open House - September 1st, 5-6 pm, drop in style. Feel free to drop off any school supplies to lighten the load on the first day of school!
*Kindergarten First Day - September 2nd
*PreK Open House - September 3rd, 3 year old program 4-4:30, 4 year old program 4:30-5, drop in style. Feel free to drop off any supplies to lighten the load on the first day!
*PreK First Day - September 8th for the full time 4 year old program and the 3 year old program. September 9th for the MWF 4 year old program.
