💙 Lothrop School @ Caverly - Pittsford
7 openings in the 3-year-old program!
Three Year Olds: Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

⭐ All RNESU Preschool classrooms are accredited by Vermont’s Step Ahead Recognition System (STARS) and fully licensed by the state of Vermont.

Enrollment is open to ALL Vermont students, not just those who are residents of the towns that RNESU serves.

The 2026-2027 School Bus Routes & Schedules are now on our website! www.rnesu.org/page/bussing-and-routes

Please closely check the bus routes for when your student will be picked up in the morning and dropped off in the afternoon. There could be some changes from last year, especially for the afternoon, and your child could be dropped off at a different time than they have in the past. In accordance with RNE district policy, parents, guardians, or an identified responsible person designated by the parent or guardian must be at the bus stop for grades K-3 or other identified students at drop off times. If this person is not present, the child will be returned to school and wait to be picked up.

RNESU Free Summer Meal Box Program

Fridays this Summer!
June 19 - August 21
(June 19, June 26, July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14, August 21*)

Pickup Locations:
📍Lothrop Parking Lot from 8:00am to 10:00am
📍Otter Valley Union High School Parking Lot from 11:00am to 1:00pm

This summer parents/guardians will have the opportunity to receive a weekly Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) meal box that contains 7 breakfast and 7 lunches.

These Free Summer Meal boxes are for children 18 years of age or younger, and children may only receive 1 breakfast and 1 lunch per day. (If your child is enrolled in a summer program that receives SFSP meals, you cannot also receive a meal box.)

Parents/Guardians can pick up meal boxes on behalf of their child.

Child does not need to be present.

*Boxes will contain 7 of each meal with the exception of August 21 which will contain 4 of each, as school begins again on August 26

Throwback to some cooler weather! ❄️

Members of the OVUU School Board and district administrators visited OCA, Whiting, and BASS on Saturday, as part of their day-long tour of the 14 buildings across eight campuses that make up our school district. Guided by building principals and maintenance staff, the tours provided a firsthand look at how our facilities support teaching, learning, and daily operations. By seeing both the strengths and challenges of each space, board members gained valuable context that will help inform future planning and decision-making for our schools and communities.

RNESU Summer Meal Box Program

Reminder - Tomorrow, Wednesday June 17th, is the last day of school for the 25-26 school year! It's also an early release - elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30, and OV will dismiss at 11:55.
