Dear DJB Families,

Please be advised that there will be no bus service tomorrow, Thursday, April 2nd, due to the bus driver being ill.

All students will need to arrange their own transportation to and from school for the day.

To ensure both sessions have the resources and support they need, we’ve updated our school schedule:

🕖 Morning Session: 7:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
🕛 Afternoon Session: 12:00 Noon – 5:00 PM

📢 Important School Calendar Update for Families

Due to recent water main breaks in the Lehigh Acres area that resulted in missed instructional time, Donna J. Beasley Technical Academy will be extending the school year by three instructional days.

📅 The last day of school will now be June 4, 2026.

This adjustment ensures we meet all instructional time requirements while continuing to support student learning and success. Additional reminders will be shared as we approach the end of the school year.

Attention Donna J. Beasley Technical Academy Families
This is a friendly reminder about the importance of attendance. In the State of Florida, students are required to complete a specific number of instructional seat-time hours in order to meet graduation requirements and remain in good standing with the Florida Department of Education.
Being present in school each day matters—not just for attendance records, but for your learning and success. Please make sure your student is present on campus for the full five-hour school day. Every minute counts toward earning credits, mastering course material, and moving closer to graduation.
