🥚💥 Our annual 3rd Grade Egg Drop was a smashing success! 💥🥚

Our third graders have been learning that words matter—both the words we say to others and the words we say to ourselves. ❤️ As part of our “Filling Buckets” lessons, students have been spreading kindness by writing encouraging notes and finding ways to lift each other up.

Today’s Egg Drop gave us a fun way to see that lesson in action: unkind words can crack someone’s shell, and repeated hurtful words can even break them. But kindness, encouragement, and positive words help keep our shells strong! 🥚💪

Whether their egg survived the drop or ended up scrambled, every student walked away with an important reminder: we have the power to use our words to build people up, not tear them down.

Great job, 3rd grade! We’re so proud of you! 💙

A little throwback to how our staff started our school year; connecting, laughing, and building community before welcoming our students back. Because a strong school community starts with us.

RIDER is off on a great adventure with Director of Communications, Dr. Stowell, while he is on an Army deployment overseas! We squished RIDER to make travel a little easier for First Sergeant Stowell and his team. Stay tuned for all that RIDER will learn over the next several months!
