Don’t forget Sunday, June 9 is the Leeton Alumni Association’s Annual Luncheon. The event will start at 12:30 pm

The honoring classes are:
1949, 1954, 1959,1964,1969, 1974,1984, 1994, 2004, 2014, and 2024.

As for the meal the meat, table service, and drinks will be provided. Please bring your favorite dish to share with everyone and bring along the recipe to share. We will have a copier available for copies. If you don’t cook, bring another idea to share.

If you got your information from the Leeton Museum Paper, there were some misunderstandings between us and the editor so to clarify the event will start at
12:30 pm

Hey everyone! It's that time again. As per request by many, we have switched the Annual Leeton High School Alumni Association Reunion back to the second Sunday of June so mark your calendar for Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 12:30 at the school.
Meat, table service and drinks will be provided. Please bring a dish of your favorite recipe to share with everyone and as a new twist, bring along the recipe to share too. If you don't have one, bring some other kind of idea to share with everyone.
Classes being honored this year are 1948, 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1983, 1993, 2003, 2013, and 2023. If you are a graduate of those years and plan to come, please call, text or email your year of graduation, name, and t-shirt size to Linda Moore (660-238-5416 or [email protected]).
Please RSVP either by phone or email to Linda Moore by May 29 so we can have an idea how much meat to provide.
We also have more new surprises in store this year so we hope to see you there on Sunday, June 11.

Be sure and check out the post card information following this. I have been asked to be the President of the Leeton Alumni Association this year and have been given the task to get more people to attend. To help me meet this challenge, plan to attend even if it is to just see what wonderful things we have come up with to entertain you. I promise it won't be boring unless you make it that way! There are two postcards being sent out because the classes we are honoring get something special if they show up, so read carefully and RSVP by May 29.

Greetings Alumni,

We are currently looking for people to take over the leadership roles of the Alumni Association. The roles that need filled include President, Vise-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. If we do not have anyone willing to take over by September 1, 2021 then we will have no choice but to disband the organization. Hello Fellow Alumni,

Based on the results of the survey sent out a couple weeks ago, we will be hosting the Leeton Alumni Reunion on June 13th. However there will be a few changes. The majority of people voted to have the meal catered this year. I have been going around and doing price comparisons. I have decided to have the meal catered through HyVee in Warrensburg. The meal will consist of two meat options, three side choices, rolls, and a few deserts options. I am asking that everyone that would like to attend please pay $8 at the door to help cover the cost of the meal. The meal will be placed out buffet style with gloves and sanitizer for people to use while serving themselves.
There have been questions as to whether or not there will be a mask requirement. The school’s mask requirement has expired and they are not requiring students to wear masks during summer school. However since the majority of the attendees of the reunion are in a higher risk category and I know not everyone has been able to get vaccinated for one reason or another. For this reason I am recommending that masks be highly encouraged but that they are not required.

I am excited to announce that we will be able to host the annual Alumni dinner this on June 13th, 2021. With that in mind I am wanting some feedback from you all about how you would like to see it handled this year due to the continued threat of COVID. The school has said that we will be able to have the reunion this year (2021). With that in mind I wanted to send out a little survey asking people about how they envision the reunion this year. Since COVID is still out and about I want to make sure people are comfortable with what we do.

Greetings fellow Leeton alumni,

It is with a heavy heart, that we have decided to cancel the Alumni Meeting and Carry-in Dinner for June 2020. With the majority of the people that attend yearly being in the most at risk range we feel it is in everyone's best interest to cancel now with the hope of trying to plan something later in the year.

At this point in time the Leeton School is closed due to COVID19 and it is uncertain when it will open up again. The state of Missouri is currently under a stay-home order and while we hope that order is lifted by June we don't know if large gatherings will be permitted.

Thank you to all the Alumni for your support to the school and our association. If we wish to continue to host events where we can gather together and reminisce we need leaders.
