Have a passion for business, leadership, and big ideas? BCTC is looking for a Business Management & Entrepreneurship Instructor to help students build the skills, confidence, and creativity to become future business leaders and entrepreneurs.

The ideal candidate will bring real world experience in areas such as business management, entrepreneurship, marketing, financial literacy, accounting, business planning, project management, and emerging business technologies.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Education, Marketing, or a related field, plus at least four years of full time wage earning experience in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, or business planning. PDE certification in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies or Business, Computer & Information Technology is required or must be obtainable.

⚡ The school year may have started, but we’re not done looking back at how BCTC students spent their summer!

Faith, a Mechatronics Engineering Technology student from Boyertown Area Senior High School, spent hers gaining hands on experience as an Electromechanical Technician co-op student at East Penn Manufacturing.

From replacing damaged wiring to helping install and rewire a failed motor, Faith put her BCTC skills to work while learning even more on the job.

The wait is over. Welcome back, BCTC!

Today, our classrooms and shops came back to life as students returned for the first day of the 2026–2027 school year.

The machines are running, projects are getting started, and students are already back to doing what they do best: learning by doing, building new skills and preparing for what comes next.

🛠️ Our favorite day of the year is almost here!

The machines are calibrated. The hydraulic fluid is topped off. The blades are sharpened. The labs are stocked. And the classrooms and shops are ready for what matters most: our students.

Monday marks the first day of the 2026–2027 school year, and we’re ready to welcome students back to BCTC!

Soon, our shops and classrooms will once again be filled with students building, creating, repairing, designing, problem solving and learning new skills.

Pheonyx, a Service Occupations student from Tulpehocken Area High School, has spent his summer putting that mindset into action through a co-op with BCTC’s custodial team.

BCTC is seeking a motivated HVAC/Refrigeration Instructor to prepare the next generation of skilled technicians. This role centers on creating a hands-on, engaging learning environment while mentoring students toward graduation, career readiness, and industry success.

Qualified candidates will bring real-world HVAC/refrigeration experience, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to deliver engaging, lab-based instruction in a safe, well-equipped learning environment. Pennsylvania Department of Education certification in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology (or eligibility to obtain certification) is required, along with a minimum of four years of full-time wage-earning industry experience beyond training.

And just like that, the countdown is ON!

Today, we officially welcomed our staff back for the first day of in-service as we get ready to kick off the 2026–2027 school year!

The halls are getting busier, classrooms and labs are getting ready, and the excitement is starting to build. There’s still plenty to do before students return, but one thing is for sure... the first day of school will be here before we know it! 👀

🔧 Summer Work. School Year Ready.

Asher, a Building Construction Occupations student from Fleetwood Area School District, spent his summer helping BCTC get ready for a new school year through a co-op with our Maintenance Department.

From mowing and groundskeeping to replacing ceiling tiles, assisting with lighting projects and helping install a new water heater, Asher has been learning just how much goes into keeping our campuses running.
