Our 7th and 8th grade Junior Trojan Travelers have returned from an incredible journey to Washington, D.C. and New York City! 🇺🇸🗽
Students explored some of our nation’s most iconic landmarks and attractions, including the U.S. Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Arlington National Cemetery, Times Square, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and more!
This amazing trip gave students the opportunity to make lifelong memories, build new friendships, experience new places, and learn beyond the classroom. From historic sites to the bright lights of New York City, every day was filled with adventure, discovery, and fun.
A special thank you to trip leaders Mrs. Ragin and Ms. Harper for helping make this experience one our students will never forget!

As the school year came to a close, we celebrated the retirement of three members of our faculty and staff with a reception in their honor. We are grateful for the years of dedication and service given by Mrs. Betty Bachman, Coach Dwayne Suggs, and Coach Jim Kremer. Their contributions have left a lasting mark on our school, and they will be greatly missed! ❤️🖤

On the last day of school just before dismissal, our 8th graders took one final walk through the gym as LCMS West students. We’re so proud of all they accomplished during their middle school years, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve in high school and beyond! Congratulations, 8th graders! 🎓

Before the end of the school year, Mrs. Gill and Mrs. Duckworth had a luau-themed party for their students and families to recognize the growth they made in math and reading throughout the year. Parents also had the opportunity to share feedback about the program and family engagement efforts.

At the end of the year, Team Elite students participated in a STEM Egg Drop Challenge. Students designed a container that would keep an egg safe after being dropped from the roof. What a fun way to put problem-solving skills to work!
