🦋🌼 Happy National Pollinator Week! 🌼🦋

Butterflies and other pollinators depend on native plants throughout their life cycle. From tiny eggs to caterpillars and finally beautiful butterflies, they need the right plants to provide food and shelter along the way.

One of the easiest ways we can help is by planting native wildflowers. These plants provide nectar, pollen, and host plants that support not only butterflies, but also bees, moths, and other beneficial insects.

The best part is that you don’t need a large space. Even a small flower bed or container garden can make a difference and help create a welcoming stop for pollinators.

Happy !

✨ Light Up Leesburg! ✨

One of the many initiatives of Leesburg in Bloom is helping bring additional beauty, color, and excitement to our community through decorative lighting throughout Downtown Leesburg and at City Hall. Throughout the year, you’ll see special colors and displays recognizing holidays, community celebrations, and other significant events that bring our city together.

These lighting displays are just one more way we’re working to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.

A huge thank you to the City of Leesburg Public Works Department, including our Grounds and Facilities teams, for bringing this vision to life. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication have helped transform our downtown and City Hall into spaces that residents and visitors can enjoy year-round. We are blessed to have such an outstanding team serving our community.

We encourage everyone to come out, take an evening stroll through downtown, enjoy our local shops and restaurants, and see what’s happening in the beautiful City of Leesburg. Whether it’s dinner with friends, a community event, or simply taking in the sights, there’s always something new to experience downtown!

Keep an eye out for new colors and displays throughout the year as Leesburg continues to shine!
