At The Rock Leesburg, we care deeply about children and students. We believe the next generation matters, and we want to do everything we can to help them know, love, and follow Jesus.

But we also know something important:

The greatest influence in a child's life isn't a church, a school, a teacher, or a coach. It's their family.

That's why we're inviting our KidCity Learning Center and SUMMIT Prep Academy families to join us for Winning Begins at Home, a parenting conference designed to encourage, equip, and support you in the most important leadership role you'll ever have—being a parent.

Whether you're raising toddlers, elementary-aged children, teenagers, or even adult children, you'll leave with practical, biblical tools, fresh encouragement, and hope for the journey.

Sometimes the best way to understand your child isn't by asking, "How was school?"
Ask questions that open a door instead of inviting a one-word answer.

"What made you laugh today?"
"Who did you sit with at lunch?"
"What was the hardest part of today?"
"Did anything surprise you?"

These simple questions can uncover the things they may never think to tell you-friendship struggles, hurt feelings, fears, funny moments, and even the little victories.

Children don't always need us to fix everything. Sometimes they just need to know we're willing to listen.
Ask better questions.
Listen without judgment.
Create a space where your child feels safe enough to tell you the truth.

Save this for later and share it with a parent who needs this reminder.
