Mrs. West’s first graders have a special connection to Dr. Williams so we thought it was fitting to have them decorate rocks for the memory garden. 💕LLT 💕 They did an amazing job!

🔺🍕 Kindergarten learning is taking shape!

From building a shape raceway to creating classroom pizzerias, our kindergarteners have been busy identifying and comparing triangles, squares, circles, rectangles, hexagons, and octagons! These hands-on experiences help students connect math to the world around them while making learning engaging and memorable.

Coming up this quarter, students will explore 3D shapes—including cubes, cones, spheres, and cylinders. More learning and magic ahead! ✨

Ms. Ren’s class had a great time on their Community Based Instruction Field Trip! They went to Walmart and Chili’s, where they practiced important skills like community safety, social skills, communication, making choices ordering food, & following directions. We are so proud of them! 🌟🌟

A Sweet Tradition

When autumn came to Lee County Primary,
A special gift would soon appear—
North Georgia apples from Mrs. Cannon,
A kindness we held dear.

For years she led our school with care,
And each fall found a way
To bring our faculty a taste of home
And brighten up the day.

Though Mrs. Cannon is dearly missed,
Her family carries on,
Sharing apples, love, and memories
Of the one whose heart lives on.

To the Opal Cannon family,
Our thanks are warm and true.
Each apple brings a sweet reminder
Of her—and all of you.
