The Matthew reading is Discipleship 101. How do we tell/show people "What Jesus Means to Me?" In the Matthew reading we are reminded of who Jesus is and how we are to be led by the Holy Spirit to "Make Him Known".

We are excited to announce Josiah Christensen will be transitioning into a new role as our concurrent-deferred vicar. Having already served at Christ Community Church and School as a Lay Deacon, Vicar Josiah is now enrolled in the four-year Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) program through Concordia Seminary. Over the next few years, he will balance his distance-education coursework with on-the-job ministry right here at Christ Community Church and School. Working under the supervision of Pastor Mark Shaltanis, Vicar Josiah will continue to serve our ministry by preaching, teaching Bible studies, and participating in daily pastoral care until his ordination as pastor in early 2029. Please join us in celebrating and supporting him in this next step toward pastoral ministry!
