✨Courtney Laughlin is a former NCAA division III hockey player and coach (SUNY Potsdam) and has spent the last 10 years coaching various youth, high school, AAA, and adult programs throughout the DMV ✨
💥 For 6 seasons she served as an NHL analyst on NBC Sports Washington, where she provided live hockey analysis, opinions, and insights on the Caps and their opponents, and was the first ever female guest coach at the Capitals rookie camp under Adam Oates.

CALLING ALL GIRL HOCKEY PLAYERS! So excited to be heading to Ion International Training Center next week Monday August 1-4th for an all girls camp!
Schedule
8:15am – Check in
8:50am - On-Ice session #1 Elevate your hockey skills and techniques. Focus will be on skating (edge work, balance, speed, and explosiveness), stick handling, passing, and shooting
10:00am - Off-Ice functional movement, strength, power, speed, agility, and endurance drills
10:45am - Classroom topics to include breaking down the fundamentals of skating and the stride, nutrition/ fueling your body, sports psychology, and opportunities for women in hockey
11:30am - Lunch
12:20pm - On-Ice session full ice drills, small games, and controlled scrimmage
1:45pm - Depart
