A brand-new school year AND a brand-new playground!

Today during our Open House, we officially celebrated the opening of Tolbert Elementary’s new inclusive playground with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony! ✂️🎀 We’re so excited to have a space where all of our students can play, explore, and have fun together. Many thanks to all involved who made this playground possible.

A big thank you to School Board Representative Lauren Shernoff for joining us to celebrate this exciting addition to our school community!

🍎💙 A huge THANK YOU to our amazing business partners, Legacy Orthodontics and Good Signs, for supporting Tolbert Elementary!

Legacy Orthodontics generously donated our student agendas, school calendar magnets, and student pick-up signs, helping us start the year organized and ready for success. Good Signs created the adorable welcome sign out front that is greeting our Tornados for Open House. 🌪️

We are so grateful for community partners who invest in our students, staff, and families.

Each summer, our amazing Tolbert custodians completely empty every classroom, clean everything from top to bottom, and apply wax to the floors to make them shine!

It's a multi-day process for each classroom, and we are so grateful for all they do to help get Tolbert ready for an incredible 2026-2027 school year!

Congratulations to our Tolbert Morning Show Honor Crew members: Alexa, Ava, Lena, Mason, and Tyler!

These fifth graders were nominated by morning show sponsors Mrs. Rosen (librarian) and Mrs. Roberts (library assistant), then selected by staff vote to represent the fifth-grade class on the morning show during the final weeks of school. Thank you for your leadership and school spirit!
