Have you ever wanted to learn worship piano? 🎹

This Tuesday at 7:30 PM Eastern, I’m teaching a free live Worship Piano Masterclass.

I’m excited to share this with the GMS community. I want to give you real help you can use right away, even if you are just getting started.

We’ll cover:
1. Why the normal way of learning worship piano leaves so many players feeling stuck—and the shift that brings freedom
2. The “fluency effect” that helps you stop second-guessing every note and play worship music from your heart
3. Why fluent worship pianists learn worship songs much faster

This is for worship pianists and for people who want to become worship pianists. You do not need to be on a worship team yet.

The class will be live, so you can ask questions too. Registration is required, and the Zoom link will only be sent to those who sign up.

Music theory can look a lot more complicated than it actually is. 🎹

The Circle of Fifths is an amazing tool, but I don’t always think it’s the easiest place for a beginning student to start.

Here’s a simple, hands-on way I like to show students how the sharp keys are built. Once you can see the pattern happening, all of those key signatures start to feel a lot less random!

One of my favorite parts of teaching is finding ways to take something that seems complicated on paper and make it actually click for a student.

Understanding first. Internalizing second. That’s when music theory starts becoming something you can actually use. 🎶

Reminder to SLOW DOWN.

We live in a fast world. Breathe. Take your time on your music. Enjoy the process and you may just find that “slow” gets you there “faster” anyway.

Bonus: this could even benefit your relationship with God and others 😌
