LHS Historical Fun Fact 👀
Leesburg and Dabney are forever connected in LHS history. Coach Dabney was a champion before, during, and after the schools integration in 1969.
His 47 year career in education impacted countless students in and out of the classroom.

He is credited for being a integral figure shaping the athletic department of Leesburg High School. His service led to naming the football stadium in his honor, H.O. Dabney stadium.

He was also the first black coach inducted into the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1982.
