First Academy Preschool

Yesterday, Miss Shelby’s Kangaroo class joined in on the sweet trend of fist bumping each student with their future dream written on their hand. 🥹💛

From cowgirls to firefighters, teachers, pilots, scientists, and more, it was such a special reminder that every child has big dreams and a bright future ahead of them.

Today these sweet VPK students officially graduated preschool and are off to kindergarten! We are so proud of them and cannot wait to see all God has planned for their lives. 🎓✨

The Early Learning Coalition of Lake County hosted their Provider Appreciation Celebration last week, and what a special night it was for our team!❤️

This year’s theme was “Spread Kindness, Share the Fiesta” for Cinco de Mayo, and the message throughout the event was such a good reminder that kindness truly matters. One of the biggest takeaways from the guest speaker was how kindness directly impacts children, school readiness, social development, and future success. It starts with us as educators and the example we set every single day.

Thank you to the guest speaker for such an encouraging and meaningful presentation. It really spoke to the heart of why we do what we do.

ELCLC always goes above and beyond with every detail from the decorations and presentations to the food, prizes, and encouragement for teachers and schools across our community.

We were blessed to have 18 staff members from First Academy Preschool attend, and we are so proud to share that our school brought home SIX awards! 🎉

I’m incredibly proud of our team and the love they pour into children every day. Their kindness, dedication, and passion for learning make such a difference in the lives of our students and families.

A special congratulations also goes to Marielys, who was individually honored for her kindness and positive spirit. So very deserving ❤️

As we head into Mother’s Day weekend and look ahead to Father’s Day in June, our preschool loved celebrating our amazing families with Muffins for Moms and Donuts for Dads this week! 💙🩷

It was such a blessing to see so many moms, dads, and family members come support their children. The smiles, hugs, and excitement from the kids made these mornings so special. We are so thankful for all the love, support, and encouragement our families pour into their children every day.

Our VPK classes had the cutest Box Car Movie Day yesterday! 🍿🚗

The students worked with their families to create their own box cars using recycled materials, and they turned out amazing. We had everything from cars and trucks to airplanes and boats. The creativity was so much fun to see!

The kids got to park their creations, enjoy popcorn and pizza, and watch the movie Cars together. We are so proud of all of our students and families for the time, effort, and creativity they put into this special project. It made for such a fun and memorable day for everyone. ❤️
