During our 2-hour Junior CEO Lab, kids won’t just talk about running a business. They’ll begin building one!

Each Junior CEO will take home a special kit to continue exploring, creating, and preparing at home before returning for our CEO Marketplace on Tuesday, August 11!

At the Marketplace, our young entrepreneurs will get to bring their own lemonade business to life, serve real customers, and be part of raising money for the Lucketts Food Pantry. 💛

We are thrilled to welcome CRAFT Theatre Co. and The Goldberg School of Music to Faith Chapel Gathering Place to launch Musical Theatre Club for Kids! Join us this fall for an exciting and immersive experience where the kids don't just perform a musical theatre play- they write it!

Musical Theatre Club (for Kids!) is a group for creative kids who love to perform and want to hone their skills while also having a ton of fun! Through this 6-month (18 class) course kids aged 7-15 will take the lead (with plenty of guidance) through scripting, designing, composing music for, rehearsing, and completing a live public performance of their own original theatrical work!

Our first meeting is the last Monday in September, with a final performance taking place the last weekend in March. Email [email protected] for more information and to see a full schedule of class dates (which will also be posted on our website soon!)

Faith Chapel Cemetery is one of four historic Loudoun cemeteries selected for the Loudoun Cemetery Conservancy’s inaugural strategic-planning initiative! This project will help us document the graves, assess preservation needs, and develop a thoughtful plan for caring for this important part of Lucketts history.

We are deeply grateful to the Loudoun Cemetery Conservancy, the Van Huyck Chockley Foundation, photographer Sarah Huntington, and everyone helping us preserve the stories of the people of Faith Chapel.

Special thanks to Emilia and Brandy Dickerson for volunteering their time to document gravestone inscriptions and to Barbara Roques for assisting with the drone mapping of grave sites.

The next phase of the project involves researching the genealogy and stories of the people buried in Faith Chapel Cemetery. If you have information that could help with this work, or if you are interested in volunteering, please contact Amanda Vela at [email protected].

Faith Chapel Cemetery connects our history with the community we continue to serve today.

Four historic Loudoun County cemeteries are getting special attention this summer as part of a larger effort to invest in the maintenance and preservation of graveyards.
