Q:Why do you love working with children?
A: I love working with infants and toddlers because I enjoy witnessing and being part of their growth in various aspects. From motor skills, self-expression to language development.
Q:What are your hobbies & favorite activities?
A: I enjoy dancing, cooking, reading, and learning new skills.
Q:What is your favorite color?
A: I don’t really have a favorite color it all depends on the season, the mood, and all other aspects.
Q:Any fun facts?
A: I’m orginally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Beside English I speak French, Swahili, and Lingala. I lived in South Africa, precisely in Johannesburg for 15 years before becoming to America.

Q:Why do you love working with children?
A: I love working with children and seeing how day by day they learn different things, each child is different and I like to see how day by day they discover what they like to do. It is a very nice experience to work with children.

A: My favorite hobbies are baking, watching series, and shopping with my niece.

Get to know Ms. Marilyn
Q:Why do you love working with children?
A: I grew up with 7 sisters, when we were younger we all got along with each other, then we grew up. Then over many years I got married had my own family, they grew up and I was alone with no one around. Then my first grandbabies was born and she was the love of my life. Over the years I was blessed with 2 more, total of 3. Words can’t say enough. I decided to change careers and went into childcare so I could be and work with little ones. They keep me young and I love seeing their smiles everyday and receiving all the hugs.
Q:What are your hobbies & favorite activities?
A: My favorite hobby would be cooking, just give me a few hours in the kitchen. I love baking with my grandchildren. Plus I love curling up with a good book.

A: Any shade of purple.

A: I was raised in Illinois, I would never want to live there again. Visiting once a year is enough for me.

A: I enjoy working with kids a lot and seeing them learn something new every day so naturally. It fills my heart with joy being part of their growth and development, and i love to teach Spanish to them.

A: Some of my favorite hobbies include coloring my jumbo Hello Kitty coloring book, as well as painting with acrylics. I love photography, I often find myself taking pictures of nature and cool cars.

A: My favorite color is black, it is very versatile.

A: A fun fact fact about me is that I was born in South Carolina, have lived there as well as in Nebraska and Sudan.

A: There are so many reasons that I love working with children. Their way of looking at the world as if everything is magical and new, and they way they constantly question the world around them makes me see them as little scientists! Despite being their teacher and their guide they continue to teach me new things and keep me curious!

A: I love to explore and enjoy doing various arts and crafts.

A:One of my favorite things about working with children In a Montessori setting is to be able to observe the children’s growth over their 3 year Montessori cycle. It is amazing to see how all their work in the classroom over the years culminates into an explosion of reading, writing , mathematics and more during their 3rd year in the program.
