This past weekend, 7th grader Mikaela McCrory got to experience a wonderful weekend full of beautiful singing with the Georgia Music Educators Association All-State Chorus in Athens, GA. She represented Lee County as the only student from our school system to make it and got to meet other talented students from all over the state of Georgia!

She earned this outstanding accomplishment by passing 2 rounds of auditions consisting of a solo, sight-reading, scales, and learning the 6 songs that were performed in the concert. We are so proud of you, Mikaela!!!

We had an awesome rehearsal this afternoon for our winter concert! Come hear the LCMS West Chorus and Band in the Winter Concert this Tuesday, December 12th at 6:00pm!

Tonight is the night!!! Come celebrate the spooky season by dressing up in a costume and listening to Halloween songs sung by LCMS West, LCMS East, and LCHS choirs!

Auditions for the middle school musical are TODAY and TOMORROW after school!!!! Please come ready to sing a song from either a Broadway musical or a musical movie and read some lines!!! Share with friends who aren’t in chorus too!
