As we prepare for the 2026-27 school year, we want to share two important updates for families attending athletic events at Lee's Summit North: new ticket prices and a student ID requirement for admission.

Ticket prices:
Ticket prices for high school athletic events will increase for the 2026-27 school year following a vote by the Suburban Conference. The updated admission prices are:
Students: $5 (previously $3)
Adults: $7 (previously $5)
Seniors 55+: Free admission
Children aged 5 and under: Free admission
To help offset the price increase, LSR7 will absorb any credit card processing fees this school year.

Student ID requirement:
High school students attending athletic events at Lee's Summit North must present a valid school-issued ID for admission. This requirement also applies to students from the visiting school.

Students under 18 who do not attend either participating school must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, including middle school students.

Exception: There are no admission restrictions on Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) postseason events.

The updated ticket prices and new admission procedures align the district with the practices of most neighboring school districts while supporting a safe, welcoming game-day experience for everyone attending athletic events.

Thank you for your continued support of Bronco Athletics. We look forward to seeing you at our events throughout the 2026-27 school year.

🚧 UPDATE, LSN Community! NEW/REVISED CRANE PICK PLAN! 🚧

Our HVAC contractor is able to make some good adjustments to their Crane pick plan, and now we have revised directions below for the next week. Please know you can now use our Events Lobby Entrance during this plan July 9-July 15. Thank you.

Here's what you need to know if you're headed to the building for camps, practices, or events during that time:
🅿️ Parking: Please use the East Parking Lot, like normal, if you are coming to the building for camps/practices/workouts. The East lot will be open for use. Please avoid using the Northwest lot and the Northeast/Theatre lot altogether. Our North lot (directly out of our Main North entrance) is available for parking.
🚪 Building Entrances: Come on in through the East Entrance (Events Lobby Entrance). The picnic area entrance will still be closed for safety.

Attached, you will see an updated diagram provided by our contractors. This map shows where the work will be happening during this window. With all the contractor traffic, crane work, and storage needed in the Northeast Lot, we ask you to avoid this area if at all possible.

Please note that part of our bus lane is closed, but traffic can still flow through the Northeast lot as needed. Please follow the blue traffic pattern dotted line outlined in the picture below as needed.

We appreciate your patience and thank you for helping us keep everyone safe during this work. 🙌

A HUGE UPDATE from our Speech and Debate Coaches…

The results of the NSDA National Tournament, after five days of competition are below. The entries for each category were between 250 and 350 kids from around the nation.

Maxon Chen, Finalist - 5th in Extemporaneous Commentary

Bennett Salva, Semi-Finalist, Auto-Qual for next year's National Tournament - 7th in Lincoln-Douglas Debate

Vivian Chira, Semi-Finalist - 9th in Original Oratory

Jake Johnson, Semi-Finalist - 10th in Informative Speaking

Maxon Chen, Top 60 in International Extemporaneous Speaking

Liam Love, Elimination Rounds, Top 120 in Storytelling

Jaylen Hughley, Elimination Rounds in Extemporaneous Debate

Micah Sanchez and Duncan Black, Top 60 in Public Forum

As a team, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, we earned:
Excellence in Speech
Excellence in Debate

Those two final awards were earned because our team was in the Top 20 schools in the Nation in those two categories. This is by far the BEST WE HAVE EVER DONE at this tournament.
