Our Senior Scholarship is also open to any senior of an LSR7 MSTA Member that has paid CTA dues.

We need your voice!

Momentum is building for the Social Security Fairness Act, and we need your help to eliminate unfair provisions that penalize our retired educators.

The Social Security Fairness Act aims to repeal the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO), which reduce Social Security benefits for people who receive pensions from non-Social Security-covered employment, including many public educators.

If enacted, the Social Security Fairness Act would positively impact over 2 million Americans, including many retired educators in Missouri. It would provide Social Security benefits that were previously earned, but unavailable.

This bill recently passed the U.S. House of Representatives with a bipartisan vote of 327-75 and now moves to the Senate, where it has previously garnered significant support.
